My name is Jennifer Waite. I’m the mother of a 6 year old lady killin’, angelic genius with autism. All the books I’ve read that were helpful were either written by austistic adults or mothers of grown autistic children reflecting on raising them without the luxuries of google and awareness ribbons.
I figure since half of America hates me because of my political blog then the cow has left the barn. I might as well air all of my dirty laundry. It’ll be therapeutic for me, possibly help other families and frankly, if Jenny McCarthy can write 3 best-selling books on autism, then… well…
Jennifer,
I can’t wait to read more. You know how much I love your sweet little boy. He is blessed to have two wonderful and supportive parents. Good luck on your journey with this.

Excuse me for lazily copying my fb comment:
Keep writing. There aren’t many of us who can go through what you are and still have the ability to look at the many sides of an issue that is hitting home (and lining everything in it up). You have such a practical attitude. I really admire you.

This is great stuff Jennifer. I’ll be sharing this blog with friends as another autism resource.
